Winter Wind 3 Month progress!

I’ve been working on this song for 3 months now. I forgot the sheet music that day so I did it all from memory, not half bad (except for the part where i say “crap I forgot” or something along those lines). I can’t wait until I can play this song up to tempo!!

    Have you heard the song "The Promise" by Michael Nyman? One of my favorite piano pieces!
  • I can play by ear and by using sheet music, although I am way more comfortable with sheet music. I took one year of piano lessons when I was 5 and began taking lessons again when I was a Freshman in college.

    I haven't heard The Promise but I'll definitely look it up! I'm always looking for more repertoire :)

  • I am listening to this music while I am twitting and you know what, I stopped twitting! :) I also appreciate (not on an expert's point of view though) classical music. I even remember the stack of tapes that I have here from my former church musical director / teacher in highschool. He also composes some classical tunes.
