A Taste of Chicago

I didn’t think blue water existed above Florida. But Chicago has taught me otherwise. Apparently lake Michigan has some fine BLUE drinking water. Who would have known? (click on the pictures for a closer view)

Yup, I went to Chicago for my very first time, and it is a beautiful city!

I even got to see a line up of people auditioning for the show “Biggest Loser”. And no I’m not trying to be funny, I’m dead serious.

I love Chicago.

Even if I’m going to hell.

  • OH! Blue water, I so want to go to Chicago now.
I find it funny the last one, correct me if I'm wrong, that the guy is not religious but he's talking about a religious matter: hell. So he must be religious, wouldn't you think?
  • I've always wanted to visit Chicago. It looks like a beautiful city. Thanks for the photos.

What's up with the guy in the last one?
  • Great photos! Thanks for touring us. Love the building and the fountain shots.

  • Love the photo's but I dont really get the last one. Is the banner thingy trying to say that all those types of people are going to hell or only the ones is yellow? I dont get it...cause doesnt that mean that EVERYONE is going to hell?? confused...

  • Yes the banner is saying all those people are going to hell. There are some extreme forms of Christianity that believe that really do believe that all those type of people will be going to hell. It's as confusing to me as it is to you...
  • Those pictures are fantastic! The first of the two buildings looks awesome! Chicago really does look beautiful.

And thank you for the lovely comment. It sucks that some people have to deal with those things a lot more than others. Listening to Jay and being supportive is all I can do, and I try to make the time until her surgeries as much fun as possible. They are not until February, so we'll try to make the best out of that time.
I really hope you are ok and your issues are not too serious!

Love that blue water in the first shot! And the first shot of the building; it's indeed a beautiful architecture. From the shot it seems that 'water' is stored on the building when you looked up in the shot.

  • I actually lived there, back in the nineties, for about six months. It was a travel assignment, and for a country girl it was culture shock. I learned to love it though. It is a truly spectacular city.
