7 weeks, 3 days, 20 hours and 9 minutes.
That is the exact amount of time I have as of 3:51 EST until I go home.
This last week has been trying.
As you can see I haven’t been posting as often.
And I officially started having withdrawls.
I’ve been dealing with the addiction for about half my life and now I must deal without.
So, here I am today with the jitters, dreaming, wishing, hoping, craving for one thing and one thing only.
So please bare with me for the next 7 weeks, 3 days , 20 hours and 4 minutes.
Because until then, I have to live with limited access to my #1 addiction.
Hi my name is Tellie and I am addicted to the internet.
Are you?

  • I am another that is addicted to the internet! I have been addicted to blogging and now reading others blogs. I couldn't live without my laptop. Sometimes it's my only outside contact when the kids are sleeping! Don't take that the wrong way I spend lots of time with the kids and we do a bunch of things.

  • Oh hello, fellow internet addict! Pleased to meet you. :P
  • Tap a vein and insert a USB cable... I'm right there with ya woman! I understand that spending large amounts of time in places that are not historically wired, IE: outside, in bathtubs, etc can ease the ache of the addiction. Then again I wouldn't be caught dead outside in Texas in summertime and I only shower when I'm downloading something...
  • Definitely addicted. And finding new ways every day to be even more addicted.

  • Same here. I am addicted to the Internet too. If only there is wi-fi in the breakroom at work, I will bring my laptop with me :)

  • It is like Lay's potato chips... but not as fattening...

  • The internet is definitely an addiction - especially when I have free time on my hands. I've been so free lately, which is actually why I started my blog, and before you realize it, the more social networks you join the more things you have to check every day. Before it would just be Facebook and my email..but now that list is ever growing.

Btw, came across your blog through 20SB & I love your header graphic. Did you do it yourself? Just curious, cause I illustrate. :)

  • I didn't create the header graphic I got it off of istockphoto.com. I only wish I had the talent to create the header :P
  • Haha it's funny how people lived without the internet for so long, but after its creation, there are now people that can't live without it... i'm definitely one of those that are 'addicted.' XD

  • Hi I am Mara and I am addicted to the Internet as well.
Especially since I am currently unemployed and this is all I can do at home. :)

  • When China decided to go all mass censorship, I cried.

    So, you're fine.

Cheryl’s last blog post..So like, I'm totally against the system right now, but it's okay because I'd never lie infront of a tank for democracy, maybe a hotdog though.
  • I am totally addicted to the Internet as well. I feel like I am missing something if I can't access my email. I run my own business so that is my excuse, but I don't know if it is actually true.
