  • I understand what you're saying, since I moved every 2 yrs growing up cuz my dad was AirForce. And then married a military man... (Is your dad or mom military?)

And our kids are a blend of Filipino, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Irish, French...

They are asked what nationality they are, all the time :o) and filling out forms, applications, etc that ask what ethnicity? haha, if it doesnt say "other", the block that is checked varies!

Oh and thanks for stopping by mine during the blog hop :o) come back any time!

  • oooh it's a toughie. I actually am Swiss but have lived in the States for 10 years, and have trouble knowing "what" I am exactly at this point.

  • I know what you mean. Personally, I love multi-cultured people :-)

  • It seems that always simple questions are hard to answer in this world. I know what you mean and can't have a clue except that I think we belong to the place where we find ourselves in.

  • Definitely know what you mean...I totally relate with this identity crisis.

  • I know what you mean. It's always awkward when people ask me where I'm from since I moved 13 times before I was 15. People expect a one-word answer but it's really more complicated than that!

Anyway, just found your blog -- it's beautiful! Look forward to reading more.
