My eating habits…

I know some people who are fortunate enough to like just about everything.I will choke down anything to be polite, yet, I envy people who speak lyrically of their delicious vegetarian stir fries.  I didn’t choose to dislike most vegetables, I was born this way.

The list of things I don’t like to eat is miles long:  steak, beef, pork,  turkey, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, eggplant, mushrooms (yes, most vegetables). I do enjoy carrots and corn and kimchi!

Kimchi!!!

Kimchi!!!

I am not too fond of spaghetti although I like lasagna. Starches are okay.   I love most fruits except the bitter ones. . I do LOVE smoothies I also LOVE nonamerican food. Yakisoba, Bulgogi (I know it’s beef but it’s different because it’s Korean), lumpia, mmmmm. I blame that on my ex-expat life.

Surprisingly one of my hobbies is cooking.  Or maybe that’s not a surprise, at least I know I can satisfy my own desires.

Are you as picky an eater as I am? I have yet to meet a picky picky eater like myself.

  • Just wanted to let you know that you are being added to the above the crease drop list today. Don't forget to grab your button for your blog.
  • No, I cannot say that I'm a picky eater at all. There are certain foods of course that I don't care for but the list is not long. Lately though, really greasy foods have been making me nauseous, which is probably a good thing.

  • I'm a lil bit picky when it comes to food. :) Call me boring but I really want to play safe especially when I think about having value for money. Like if I don't like the food It is equal to wasted money.

Hey, I also like lasagna too! :) Everything that has tomato sauce in it is a hit for me. :)

  • I am not a picky eater although there are quite a handful that I do not eat and some that I haven't tried yet (like Kimchi). I do know someone who is as picky as you-if not pickier, my brother! He does eat beef, chicken and pork but only on alternates, he doesn't eat almost all vegetables, the only fruits he like are bananas and mangoes, he doesn't eat liver, pork fat, etc. etc.

  • Not much of a picky eater. I don't like eggplant, mushrooms, or cauliflower either though, nor squash or liver, that's about it for my being super picky.

  • I love my veges esp broccoli, cabbage and tomatoes. Not really fond of cauliflower though.

I guess even though you don't like vegetables, you eat them, in the form of pickled vegetables like kimchi. I do so love soon dobu jigae. Yumm! So I guess I'm not that picky. :D

  • My 8 yr old son, is very picky. He has a large appetite, but only for things that are familiar, and good to him. It is a challenge making sure I get him all the nutrients he needs, in his meals. I do require him to at least try something before he refuses it.
