What a beautiful, sentimental, and hilarious portrait of you! First of all, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! I believe you should post more pictures of yourself here. I know we are our own worst critics, but girl . . . you have nothing to be critical about, regarding your appearance.

I have a lazy eye, too (the curse of the far-sighted writer . . . lol). I learned a trick a while back I'd like to share with you, concerning pictures of oneself. Have someone else take your picture, standing far away and zooming in. Keep your focus on any object behind, yet a bit off to the side of the photographer. The result? A gorgeous headshot, minus the lazy eye. The picture of me on my blog is one example.

* I love your woodchuck formula! That's a riot!

* Take my kids (or any one of the four) for a few days. If you still want to have kids after that experience . . . by all means. lol

* Whenever you decide to go backpacking through Europe, please consider swinging by Chicagoland and whisking me off to make the 'great escape' with you. I promise, I'm a HOOT and a half to have around and I will, forever, keep you laughing (especially in the absence of my children). I don't eat much either.

I'll have my bag packed by this evening, and ready to go by the front door. )~

I really enjoyed reading this. I would love to learn how to play the piano. I did take lessons and remember the basic keys. We have a piano downstairs. I don't know what kind it is. Your a lucky gal getting to visit all the places you have. I would love to see the world. I don't like taking pictures of me either. I love my camera though.

Yeah, I spent months researching on DSLRs before I bought the D60. I had my heart set on a Rebel XTi but since I have really small hands, it was too bulky and I went ahead and got the D60. Plus the $$ saved makes it even the more worthwhile.

Only thing I’d suggest is that, whatever camera you buy, buy the camera body and 50mm lens, and not worry about the kit lens. They aren’t at all what I was expecting and didn’t give me the pictures I was wanting. The 50mm lens on the other hand, priceless.
