The Highlight of My Day

So I’m sure you noticed: I’m busy. Life has handed me a few lemons, so I’m busy making lemonade!  8-) I haven’t been publishing posts like I use to, and I don’t have time to visit blogs like I once did. I’m hoping that this will change fairly soon, but that is not promised. So for now I am recycling one of my posts from when my blog was brand-spanking new. Lame? Yes. Do I care? Nope!

I know I am making a big deal about this. But every time I get a sandwich with mayonnaise it goes over board. The cafeteria ladies grab a spatula and literally scoop the mayo out of a 5 gallon tub and slap it on both pieces of bread. Seriously what are they thinking? Can you say gross? I normally get a paper towel to wipe off the excess.

So today, after eating 1000 over-mayo-ed sandwiches (I don’t even think I’m exaggerating unfortunately), for the first time the lady asked if I wanted mayonnaise on one side or two. That made my day! This sandwich had the perfect amount of mayonnaise .

Too bad the fries were inedible and hard enough to make a pagoda.

Hard Fries + Boredom = Pagoda

Hard Fries + Boredom = Pagoda

  • i missed commenting on this post heehee good thing you were recycling your post.

lmao with the fries. but it looks delicious and the mayo looks yummy!
  • ewww i hate mayo
  • Sometimes you need to recycle a little.
  • Hee hee, I want crispy fries! Love the pagoda.
  • notyourmotherscrazy
oooo, if I were sitting next to you, I so would have taken your crispy fries!! I'd sahre my chocolate pudding because I'm certain I would have some.
  • i dislike too much mayo on my sandwiches too. i'm glad that the cafe has finally come to their senses.
  • Yuck on all that mayo!! LOL at your pagoda of fries!!
  • Haha I love the french fries sculpture. I don't like a lot of mayo on my sandwich either. I'm glad they finally got it right. Maybe a lot of people complained about it or something. :P
  • That gives a whole new meaning to playing with your food, at least you're creative.
  • I think school cafeteria has a thing about making even simplest foods terrible. This is why i rater have lunch someplace else. :(
  • I guess the lunch lady has a lot of mayo to spare! XD
  • Nothing ruins a good meal more than 1. Too much of any condiment and 2. Hard french fries. I don't know how many times I've been starving, ready to eat nice, fresh fries, only to find I've been given the hard, pointy kind. Believe me, there have been moments I'd love to just stab the cook with the pointy end.

Haha too funny. The cafeteria definitely knows how to ruin ANY meal. Even if it's cereal the milk will be spoiled some days. Got to love the college life.
