Thanks and Snow…

Thanks to everyone who commented on my last post. It was really uplifting!! I’m still feeling pretty shitty but hopefully this time around something will be found.  I haven’t had much time to reply to comments but I’ll hopefully get a chance to do that tomorrow.

For the past few days my area has been dealing with the effects of a blizzard. There was about 2 feet of snow in my back yard with 4-5ft (1.5 meters) drifts.

I took a few photos and this is my ultimate favorite. It was taken during the middle of the storm. Nope this isn’t anyone in my immediate family! But our wonderful neighbors. How many people have neighbor’s who are willing to plow both their and your driveway during the middle of a storm?

Of course there was a little left for us to shovel, but it was considerably easier since the first 2-3ft (meter or so for those on the metric system) were already gone. Here’s my dad shoveling the remainder the next day. Also you can see my poor baby (car) in the background covered in a mound of ice/snow. So sad, so sad.

  • Wow, how beautiful! Lol we barely have a smattering of snow here in Texas, and I'm thrilled. I can't imagine having all your snow to "oooh and aaah" over!
  • Duh! Invite you to see our winter wonderland and then don't give you a link. BRILLIANT!

  • Wow, that's a lot of snow! Looks just like around my house. Ain't snow grand?! At least in your picture the sun is shining. We got hit with (probably) the same blizzard but the sun never did come out. Your picture makes me want to run for my snow tube!

If you can, check out my blog. I have three winter wonderland videos in there. You can see what our blizzard looked like - and it was fun!
