So my last post was anything but positive. But on a bright note. I leave in 6 days for …*drum roll please*…Belize! I shall be taking a ton of pictures while I’m there and I’m loving how the daily high is in the 80s and the low is in the 70s.
I’ve also finished 75% of the work necessary to apply to graduate schools. I’m hoping I get to go to school in Washington DC so cross your fingers for me. I
promise my posts will become more interesting and full of pictures once I’m done applying to these graduate schools and I’m in Belize.
Thanks to everyone who commented on my last post. It was really uplifting!! I’m still feeling pretty shitty but hopefully this time around something will be found. I haven’t had much time to reply to comments but I’ll hopefully get a chance to do that tomorrow.
For the past few days my area has been dealing with the effects of a blizzard. There was about 2 feet of snow in my back yard with 4-5ft (1.5 meters) drifts.
I took a few photos and this is my ultimate favorite. It was taken during the middle of the storm. Nope this isn’t anyone in my immediate family! But our wonderful neighbors. How many people have neighbor’s who are willing to plow both their and your driveway during the middle of a storm?

Of course there was a little left for us to shovel, but it was considerably easier since the first 2-3ft (meter or so for those on the metric system) were already gone. Here’s my dad shoveling the remainder the next day. Also you can see my poor baby (car) in the background covered in a mound of ice/snow. So sad, so sad.
