It was all a lie – Little April Rose

I woke up this morning to a very devastating and deceiving thing in the blog world. I have heard of things like this happening, but never on such a large scale.

I came across this  blog about a little miracle named Stellan (his button is in my sidebar). The doctors told his mom surely he would die from heart failure while in the womb. He was born perfectly healthy and had no evidence of heart problems up until a couple months ago, when his heart rate soared into 300s beats per minute.  From this blog I learned of another story. Little April Rose.

Little April Rose was an unborn baby diagnosed with Trisomy 13.  Thousands of people commented on this blog praying for this unborn child.  The blog owner received donations.   There was a play by play on the birth and the afterhours, which I found a bit odd. But April was born alive but her heartbeat was declining.  Then the updates stopped abruptly and soon, I learned, it was all a scam.

I’m trying to be nice….but I seriously wonder what type of sadistic person would fake the life and the death of a baby?  I was compelled NOT to comment on the blog. I knew inside things weren’t adding up.  And when the picture of Little April was that of a doll, I knew.

Whatever the reason for decieivng the blogger world, the person is probably now in some serious legal trouble. They probably need prayers more than ever before.

Annoyed

So there is someone in the blogging land that has pissed me off. A few weeks back they asked me to help them with their layout. I told them I was too busy at the time but if I get any free time I would be more than happy to help. This person just so happened to have the same picture as me. No big deal. But today while I was surfing the blogosphere they have the same exact layout as I do. No big deal. I didn’t make the layout, I got the code from elsewhere.

But then they also have the same exact color scheme. Now I am royally pissed. I hate how people can be so unoriginal sometimes. I am certain the took part of my CSS code.  I know they will come across this blog, and see this post. They’ve visited almost every day of last month, and obviously they liked my layout well enough to copy it.

But I shall let it go. I know there are some really big jerks out on the world-wide-web I just hate when I come across them.

In other news I am feeling slightly better than my last post…maybe not physically but emotionally I am.
